First in the nation on airport grounds, DFW’s freestanding emergency center and urgent care was built by KDMH Construction. This Code 3 ER medical facility sits on 1.4 acres of land on Innovation Drive near DFW Airport Headquarters. The facility houses a 24/7/365 full-service emergency room and separate urgent care. KDMH Construction designed the foundation system to deal with challenging North Texas soil conditions while handling the many challenges of any first-of-a-kind construction. Serving the needs of over 60,000 Airport-based and Airline employees on site every day and over 60 million passengers traveling through the airport every year, this state-of-the-art facility opened in 2018.
